Al-Quds index plunged by 0.27% losing 1.42 points trading in the red and closed at 516.39 points.

The General Index declined by 0.25% losing 0.68 point and closed at 273.71 points.

Total of 284.4 thousand shares were traded through 112 transactions at a turnover of $563.1 thousand. Shares of 15 companies participated in trading, 2 rose, 6 declined and the remaining 7 ones remained unchanged.

The two gainers were Palestine Islamic Bank which rose by 2.31% and Birzeit Pharmaceuticals Co which soared by 0.64%.

On the other hand, the top three losers were The National Bank which lost 2.54%, National Aluminum and Profile Co which decreased by 1.37% and Jerusalem Cigarette Co Ltd which shed 1.12%.

At the sectors level, the services and investment sectors declined by 0.53% and 0.10% while the industrial sector gained 0.03%.

Al-Quds index had increased by 0.21% gaining 1.06 points and closed at 517.81 points last session boosted by the services sector which rose by 0.53%.

The General index had increased by 0.20% gaining 0.54 point and closed at 274.39 points.
